How to Create a New Apple ID

  • Open the Settings app.
  • Click on Sign in to your iPhone at the upper part of the screen.
  • Tap “Don’t have an Apple ID.
  • Next, tap Create Apple ID.
  • Enter your birthday, then tap “Next” at the top right of the screen.
  • Now enter your name and press “Next.”
  • From here, select your “existing email address” or proceed with the “get a free iCloud address” option.
  • Input your email address and afterwards touch “Next.”
  • Now create a password eight characters long and click “Next.”. Your password will have to include at least one uppercase letter and at least one numerals to go through.
  • You will receive a text message or call to confirm your identity, tap Continue.
  • Agree to the terms and conditions.
  • Enter your iPhone Passcode, if needed.
  • Choose whether you want a confirmation email sent to the email address you enter or different.
  • Enter the verification code from your email to your iPhone.
  • Tap Merge.
  • That’s all, from here you can adjust the payment and shipping information, set up iTunes and App Store, set up Family Sharing, and more.

Change Apple ID on the iPhone

  • To log in with another Apple ID on your iOS device, navigate to the Settings app.
  • Tap on your name above. At the top of the screen, you can view the Apple ID you’re logged in with. Scroll down and touch “Sign out.”
  • Next, you will be required to enter your Apple ID and authorize your entry. In the following screen, you can select which information should be saved in the iCloud. To make a copy, you move the slider to the right; then, you tap again on “Sign out.”

  • Choose Add Account.

  • Select the category of account you desire to configure. Choose CardDAV for contacts, Mail for an email account, and CalDAV for a calendar.
  • Input your account credentials.
  • Click Next.
  • Lastly, tap Done.

Here’s how you can set up mail, contacts, and calendars right from the Mail app on your iPhone. However, if you don’t like using the Mail app that much, other options might be for you.

Set Up Apple Pay

With Apple Pay, you can conveniently use contactless services in shops, such as the discount store, in restaurants, hotels, or at the gas station; pay with the iPhone, directly and without entering a PIN. This usually applies to amounts below a certain figure. For payments that exceed this maximum amount, it is generally necessary to enter the PIN for security reasons. Nevertheless, if you use Apple Pay, you will not be charged. As with credit card payments, the fees are covered by the relevant dealer, so the service is free for you.

Contactless payment is made possible by the NFC transmission standard, which allows data exchange over short distances.

Configure Apple Pay on the iPhone

Method 1: Settings app

  • Go to the Settings app.
  • Touch “Wallet & Apple Pay
  • Next, tap “Add Cards.”
  • After an info screen on the Apple Pay functionalities, skip to “Continue” with a tip. From here, you can scan your credit card. The card details will be captured automatically. Alternatively, you can enter the card information manually.
  • After going through the tip on display, touch “Next” in the top right, swipe to the next step. The scannedcredit card will then be approved by card issuer. After verification, touch “Next,” to use Apple Pay on your iPhone. Your card(s) are deposited straight in the Wallet app on your iPhone.
  • You can add up to 12 cards. If you use multiple cards with Apple Pay, you can pick a desired card by from the Wallet app. However, if your default card is not accepted in a specific store, you can definitely pay with another card through Apple Pay.

Method 2: Wallet app

  • Go to Wallet App on your iPhone
  • From here, touch the blue Plus icon in the top left corner.
  • Touch Add Cards to choose the card that you want to add.

Sending money with Apple Pay Cash in the Messages App

Apple Pay Cash is Apple’s system of sending and receiving Apple Pay payments through iMessage. Setting up Apple Pay Cash also adds the new Apple Pay Cash card to the Wallet app on your iPhone, which allows you to use the remaining balance on that card to make payments in physical stores or online, just like you would with any other Apple Pay credit or debit card.

How to Set Up Apple Pay Cash

  • Open the Settings app.
  • Click on Wallet & Apple Pay.
  • Tap Apple Pay Cash.
  • Next, tap Continue.
  • From here, tap Agree if prompted. If you’ve formerly configured the Apple Cash on other Apple devices linked with your iCloud account, you might not get the prompt.
  • Finally, tap Done.

Verifying your identity for Apple Pay

To ensure using Apple Pay Cash isefficient, you’ll have to verify your identity.

  • Open the Settings app on your device.
  • Click on Wallet & Apple Pay.
  • Next, tap Apple Pay Cash.
  • Click on Verify Identity.
  • Tap Continue.
  • Type in your First and Last names.
  • Click on Next.
  • From here, input your address.
  • Tap Next.
  • From the resulting screen, type in the last four digits of your social security number and date of birth.
  • Click on Next.

Adding money to Apple Pay Cash card

You can send payments by messaging with Apple Pay without there being any credit on your Apple Pay Cash card. However, you may still want to add some cash.

  • Launch the Wallet on your iPhone.
  • Click on your Apple Pay Cash card.
  • Next, touch the … in the black circle in the upper-right side.
  • Touch Add Money.
  • From here, input the amount of money you prefer to add to your card via the buttons or by typing the figure on the number pad.
  • Next, tap Add.
  • From here, approve the transfer from an Apple Pay-linked debit card.

Sending Apple Pay Cash Balance to a Bank Account

Any money received on your Apple Pay Cash card can be transferred from your card to a bank account of your choice.

  • Launch the Wallet on your iPhone.
  • Click on your Apple Pay Cash card.
  • Next, touch the in the black circle in the upper-right side.
  • Click Transfer to Bank.
  • From here, input the amount that you intend to transfer from your Apple Pay Cash balance to your bank account.
  • Touch Next.
  • Select from either Instant Transfer or the 1-3 Business Days option. The Instant Transfer has a fee linked with it and entails a debit card while choosing the 1-3 Business Days will entail adding your bank account info.
  • Next, touch Transfer.
  • Finally, authorize the transfer.

Sending Payments Using Apple Pay Cash

  • Open Messages on your iPhone.
  • Click on a conversation with the individual you intend to transfer money to or begin a new iMessage dialog.
  • Next, touch the Apple Pay button at the lower part of the display.
